When Jon and I moved back to the Philadelphia area, we wanted to find a house that had tons of character and charm. As luck would have it, a house went on the market that had just been flipped and we fell in love with the bright white walls, dark wood floors, and marble detail of the kitchen. Over the past year I have been looking to create a master bedroom that plays with a mix of my traditional, boho, and eclectic style. So when designing my space with Home Decorators I knew that a tufted upholstered headboard would be the piece that brought all these elements together.
Basically once I saw this headboard from Home Decorators I knew I was in love and started planning a mood board all around it for my bedroom. I decided the Dale headboard in a neutral light color was perfect so I could bring in pops of color through other pieces in the room. The tufted style of the Dale is also classic and I’ve been dreaming of a headboard like this forever.
Of course, then I would need to add a statement piece above the headboard and this mirror would be perfect. At the base of the bed, I would put this bench for storage. The hand woven wicker texture is so pretty. I have also been looking for a chair that brings a little sophistication to the mix and I am obsessed with this brown leather tufted one. The Chennai Nightstands would then be amazing to pair next to our bed. I love the whitewash finish and carved medallion design that brings in a more boho vibe. I would then add these glossy white lamps and this gorgeous wooden chandelier for lighting. My finishing touches would be to incorporate a boho rug like the Georgia Area Rug and then add some fun pattern through kilim pillows like this one.
I can’t wait to show you my bedroom reveal once it all comes together! In the meantime, I linked all my favorite pieces from Home Decorators that you can shop below.
