One of my favorite spots to shop during the holidays is Glen Eagle Square in Chaddsford, PA. It is an outdoor shopping area with some of my favorite places to shop and eat while finishing up Christmas shopping. The Saturday we were there was especially fun because every store celebrated Men’s Shopping Day!

When we arrived we decided to eat first since it’s never a good idea to shop while you are hungry. We went to Avenue Kitchen which specializes in American classics and gourmet dishes. We got the southern fried chicken and cornbread along with the baked goat cheese appetizer. I will definitely be going back for this! Then we sampled their steak frites and braised short rib before taking the rest home. So so good.

After eating, we started our shopping at Scout & Molly’s which features some of my favorite brands such as BB Dakota, 1.State, and Daydreamer. I loved all of their winter hats and graphic tees which would be perfect to layer with. We then headed to a new home store, Kurtz Collection which showcases its own custom designed rugs made in Nepal and the cutest home gifts. I wanted to bring home so many items including this one rug and the cutest glasses. Finally we stopped by Co Chic Boutique which had the perfect Christmas pajamas from PJ Salvage. The owners dog was also there that day and any store you can pet puppies and shop is a new favorite in my book. We then looked at the schedule at Cycology202 in case in between all the Christmas cookies and snacking this month we wanted to get a work out in. Cycology 202 opened in August and is a 45 minute cardio cycling class timed to the beat of the club-style music in a dark, candle-lit room. I’ve heard amazing things about their combo cycle/TRX classes, or cycle/Pilates classes too which I can’t wait to try!
