skybrunch

One of my favorite things about blogging has been the friendships I have made. This past weekend I was able to connect with some of my favorite local philly bloggers to have a brunch at SkyBrunch in Center City, Philadelphia and it did not disappoint. We had the best time catching up, talking about the holidays, and enjoying the gorgeous view from the 51st floor above the restaurant.

When I first found out about SkyBrunch I was so excited. In short it opened in 2015 and is a destination dining experience, that offers a copious and well-crafted buffet and specialty cocktails with breathtaking views of the city of Philadelphia from 50 stories up. What else more could anyone want?

After arriving, we took the elevator to the top of the tower. Immediately our server came over to greet us and we were offered a drink from their list of delicious complimentary cocktails. Important to note: your first cocktail is always free with your meal! I was personally torn between the “A Piece of Heaven” and “Cloud 50 Cocktail Spritzer” which is a blood orange mimosa that you will have a hard time limiting to one. I chose the Cloud 50 and it was delicious. However, they also have a build your own hot chocolate bar with all the fixings where you add your liquor of choice. We got a taste of one and it was so good! It will definitely be something I come back for next time.

We then headed towards the seven buffet stations which are all made in house by Executive Chef Mark Brinton and his team . The buffet stations include brunch classics and some unexpected treats including sushi, a raw bar, honey stung fried chicken, multiple smoked salmons and bagels, French toast, omelet station, carving stations, a variety of fresh fruits and vegetable dishes. I headed over to the omelet station and had an omelet made with my favorite veggies. Then of course I went to the waffles and topped them off with chicken fried chicken glazed with honey and citrus. I still am dreaming about them today. Finally, everyone enjoyed the extensive dessert buffet which was the perfect ending to our meal.

Before we left, we were also able to check out the panoramic views on the 51st floor which had the most gorgeous views of the Center City skyline It was the perfect photo opportunity and we could see why this location is so popular for drinks and brunch. SkyBrunch is the perfect location in the city to unwind before the week ahead and in our case chat about upcoming holiday events, whether we are doing “elf of the shelf” this year, and what beauty products we are currently obsessing over.

If you are looking for a great place for brunch on a Sunday, I would highly recommend SkyBrunch. It is located at Three Logan Square at 1717 Arch St. and currently open on Sundays from 10am-2pm.  The cost is $50 per adult most Sundays and 1 dollar per year for children 13 and under. They provide discounted parking under the restaurant at $10 which is amazing for the center city area. Reservations are also recommended if you are planning to attend especially around the holiday’s.

Thank you again to SkyBrunch and Punch Media for having us this weekend. We can not wait to come back again!
