Are you looking for a cute place that gives you an apartment like feel in the heart of any city you visit? It’s exactly what I look for and it’s why I am so glad I found Stay Alfred. John and I recently were able to stay with them in Philadelphia and Nashville in which we pretty much decided at that moment we could live in two cities, why settle with one?
When we did our staycation in Philadelphia, we stayed at Stay Alfred at the Granary. It was the perfect apartment in the Fairmount neighborhood. If this doesn’t ring a bell, its known for being the area where the art museum is and the famous Rocky steps. There was such easy parking across the street and the Stay Alfred at Granary welcomed us with so many coffee and shops below us! Our favorites when staying there:
- Whole Foods- Allegro Coffee and Federal Donuts
- Le Pain for Brunch
- Kite and Key – favorite bar to walk to for drinks and food (John loves the sweet thai chilli mussels)
- Pizzeria Vetri
- The Twisted Tail (Old City neighborhood)
- Aether (Fishtown)
- Yards Brewery
- The Dandelion
- Parc
When we did our staycation in Nashville, we stayed at Stay Alfred at the James. It is in the Gulch which is a great spot right outside of downtown and Broadway. You are in walking distance to some favorite restaurants and shops including:
- Barista Parlor- coffee
- Killebrew Coffee-coffee
- Milk and Honey-great brunch!
- Burger Republic
- Whiskey Kitchen
- Kittenish– cutest clothes by Jessie James Decker
- Frye– the best boots
- Two Old Hippies
- Uncommon James
