The best type of trends are the one’s that do not change your style completely or create havoc on your bank account. The past few weeks I have been obsessed with blouses and dresses with a tie neck.
The tie neck is a simple feminine detail that I just love in contrast to a girlie dress. I’ve had my eye on this floral dress from Nordstrom for a few weeks and was so happy when it arrived. It was extremely comfortable the minute I put it on and the lace tie neck under the collar looks so cute against the delicate floral print. I wore it to a recent Adele concert in Philadelphia which was all-around amazing. I decided to pair the dress with ankle boots because of the humidity but also think it would be great with over-the-knee boots! It was the perfect dress because of its lightweight material and flowy silhouette. It also comes with a slip that fits perfect (sidenote: I hate when I find a beautiful dress but the slip it comes with hardly fits over my bottom! Major Pet Peeve.)
If you look through my blog you’ll see that this is not the first dress with a tie neck that I fallen in love with. This pink dress was also a recent find and is so pretty in person. I also love this denim option and this tie neck dress is perfect for teaching. I also recently ordered this dress and can’t wait for it to arrive!
